  Love Or PerishThe urgent and pulsating punk blasts of Brooklyn, New York’s Love Or Perish. With their chop to the neck brand of DIY punk and hardcore. Featuring the herky jerky shouted delivery of vocalist Massimo Scodatti, guitarist Carlos Canedo, drummer Dan Cain and bassist Kelly Harris-Love Or Perish draw influences from the likes of the Sonics, Stiff Little Fingers, Ike and Tina, the Stooges, oh, and mayhem.
Their debut record ‘Start From Zero (2008) released on their own DIY label Simple Social Graces Discos was a propulsive burst of high-energy, low-pretension punk with often sociopolitical lyrics that were more call to arms than badgering or hectoring. Though recording’s haven’t come as often as live shows for Love Or Perish, their shows have become legendary in the basements and small bars across New York City and beyond.
In their own words – “Countering violence with violence, the four - dubbed "The Last Gang In Town" by nobody in particular - hold the world in contempt. Too loud, too irreverent, too confident, too passionate to be relevant in this world of soulless "art-as-commodity" impostors, the Last Gang deliver angry, horny beats without an objective - but not without a passion.
